Galanos is one of the top American designers known for his exquisite designs and detailed workmanship. This gown has layers of navy chiffon with a base of silk taffeta. One  shoulder design is bare while the other has a long Dolman style sleeve in multicolored chiffon a very dramatic design. Each color is sewn and rolled hemmed to give it structure and it will not come apart a detailed sewing technique. The gown does look simple in design which it is but the details in the haute couture sewing are incredible. Measures as follows Shoulders 14, Sleeves the one 24, Armhole 7, Bust 34, Waist 26, Hips 38, Length 53 The chiffon has no snags  there is one small stain at the left hip and a small stain at the yellow chiffon at the bottom this gown has not been dry cleaned so not sure if the stain will come out
